Alumni Success Hub

The Alumni Success Hub is a full Salesforce Lightning application built for a fictional Higher-Education institution, designed to take alumni relationship management from graduation day through lifelong engagement.

Main Features

  • Full Alumni Lifecycle Data Model: 6 custom objects (Engagement, Events, Attendance, Mentorship, Donations, Career Outcomes) built around Contact as the Alumni record, with lookup/master-detail relationships chosen deliberately for cascade-delete safety and reporting flexibility.
  • 9 Declarative Automations: (Flow only, zero Apex) covering graduate-to-alumni conversion, event registration with waitlisting, attendance processing, donation recognition, mentorship lifecycle, engagement follow-up, and scheduled inactive-alumni outreach.
  • Role-based security model: 5 purpose-built permission sets (Coordinator, Advancement Office, Career Services, Executive Viewer, Admin) with field-level security gating sensitive data (salary, donation history, private notes).
  • 30 reports across 4 executive dashboards: (Executive Overview, Engagement, Advancement & Giving, Career Outcomes) covering everything from attendance rates to donor tiers to salary distribution.

Business Problems It Solves

  • Alumni relationships go cold after graduation: Automated conversion, welcome touchpoints, and a scored engagement model give staff an early-warning system for who's drifting away, before they're unreachable.
  • Event logistics eat staff time: Registration, capacity/waitlist management, attendance tracking, and confirmation emails run themselves instead of living in spreadsheets.
  • Donor stewardship is inconsistent: Every completed gift triggers the right thank-you, staff alert for major gifts, and tier recalculation automatically, so no donor falls through the cracks and refunds don't leave stale totals behind.
  • Mentorship programs are hard to administer at scale: Matching, first-meeting reminders, and lifecycle status (active/completed/cancelled) are tracked and automated rather than managed ad hoc.
  • Sensitive data (salary, giving history, private notes) needs real access control: Enforced at the field level per role, not left to page-layout hiding, so the org would pass a real security review.

CareBridge 360

CareBridge 360 is a healthcare operations platform I built on Salesforce to show how far you can push automation and AI in a regulated industry without losing control of it.

Main Features

  • Full patient lifecycle management: Registration, medical history, prescriptions, and care plans on a deliberately simplified 9 object data model (no bloated EHR clone).
  • Automated appointment to claim workflow: Completing an appointment triggers Flow-driven insurance claim creation with built-in duplicate prevention.
  • Real-time insurance eligibility verification: Via a custom REST integration (Named Credentials, Apex callouts, JSON parsing, full mock-based test coverage).
  • Two purpose built Agentforce AI assistants: An internal Operations Assistant for staff (appointment lookups, patient summaries, claims/renewal status) and a customer facing Connect Assistant embedded as a live chat widget on a patient portal.
  • Branded Experience Cloud (LWR) patient portal: Has its own login, appointment view, and profile page.

Business Problems It Solves

  • Cuts front-desk workload: Lets patients self-serve common requests (reschedule, renewal, contact update) through chat instead of a phone call, any time of day.
  • Reduces manual insurance verification time: Automates real-time eligibility checks instead of staff calling payers.
  • Eliminates duplicate claim and billing errors: Replaces manual claim creation with deterministic, tested automation.
  • Gives staff instant answers via AI instead of digging through records: Today's appointments, prescriptions needing renewal, claims stuck in denial.
  • Keeps AI accountable in a regulated industry: every clinical, treatment, and coverage decision is explicitly walled off from the AI and routed to a human, addressing a real and current concern about AI overreach in healthcare.
